Bohumil Zíka (narozen 4.8.1932, zemřel 26.3.2025)
Jeden z posledních mušketýrů plzeňského volejbalu nás nečekaně opustil ve věku nedožitých 93 let, kdy mu v posledních chvílích byla oporou celá rodina, bohužel nezvládl doléčení fatálního zranění. Bohouše, jak jsme ho všichni oslovovali, si pamatujeme jako výborného trenéra a objevitele kluků budoucích výborných volejbalistů koncem 70-tých a počátkem 80-tých let minulého století. Jeho svěřenci, dnes už šedesátníci, někteří ještě aktivní volejbalisté a dříve výborní ligoví hráči, nikdy na svého sportovního téměř tátu nezapomenou. Sám nebyl výrazným hráčem, ale o to víc se věnoval své dobrovolné a nezištné trenérské dráze, po jejímž skončení se stále až do posledních dní zajímal o volejbalové dění především v Plzni, které dokázal jako perfektní parťák při vzájemných posezeních se zaujetím i vtipem krásně glosovat.
Připomeňme si i jeho profesionální životní poslání, v mládí se vyučil hodinářem, stále se zlepšoval a nakonec patřil mezi výrazné špičky tohoto povolání, se kterým skončil v hodně pozdním věku až v době kovidové. Každá návštěva v jeho klenotnictví a hodinářství patřila k bezvadným společenským setkáním, při kterých tak trochu nenápadně a převážně bez čekání proběhla oprava poškozených hodinek či jiného zboží. Označení super machra a obdivuhodného všeuměla jej plně vystihující v této pracovní činnosti !
Poslední rozloučení proběhne v pondělí 7. dubna od 11:30 hodin ve Velké obřadní síni na plzeňském Ústředním hřbitově.
Vzpomínejme na Bohouše, dlouholetého kamaráda, vždy jen v dobrém, čest jeho památce ! Kéž je mu nejen volejbalové nebe milostivé !
